OMU is a peer-to-peer rental marketplace that connects individuals who want to rent items with those who have items available for rent. We provide the platform but are not party to the rental agreements between users.

As a user of OMU, you agree to:

  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Treat other users with respect and professionalism
  • Accurately describe items you list for rent
  • Return rented items in the same condition as received

4. Prohibited Activities

You may not use the Platform to:

  • List illegal items or items that violate intellectual property rights
  • Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users
  • Circumvent the Platform's payment or booking systems
  • Scrape or collect user data without permission

5. Payments and Fees

OMU charges a service fee on each rental transaction. Payment terms, refund policies, and fee structures are detailed in your rental agreement and on the Platform.

6. Liability and Insurance

OMU provides a platform for peer-to-peer rentals but is not responsible for the condition, safety, or legality of items listed. Users are encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance coverage for their rental activities.

7. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute between users, OMU may provide mediation services but is not obligated to resolve disputes. Users agree to attempt good-faith resolution before pursuing legal action.

8. Termination

OMU reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service or engage in prohibited activities. Users may also terminate their accounts at any time through their profile settings.

9. Changes to Terms

OMU may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
